best food in north. staff are very accomodating I've been coming to Sahtu for 14 years and Yamouri still has best food in Canada....I can't find portions and quality like they serve down south....keep up good work yamouri!!
Well Been craving a loaded bacon cheese burger and fries with Gracey. . Price decent . Nice home made burgers. Can't beat that in Norman wells. At the Yamouri inn .
It's an older place but the beds are comfortable, the staff friendly, and the burgers at the restaurant are some of the best I have ever had. It's right beside the grocery store as well. Microwaves in the rooms and lots of pillows on your bed.
Wonderful place! Great people, and Pete's Pride makes incredible food. Mushroom burgers have now been ruined for me!
Norman Wells doesn't have many options and I didn't see the others. It fit the bill. I had a place to sleep and stayed out of the rain. Restaurant filled my belly. I was content.
I checked into my room after a 24 hr drive and i was afraid that i would not get any sleep. You know what ? I felt like i was at home. The room was clean the people that i talked to where like my neighbors very helpful and directions and finding other places to go to eat . Just a home away from home. The best out of 10 hotels. I give the 1st place winners in my book.

Old school bar loung/ dinner feel. Come ready to talk to the locals, there very friendly. Very remote out door living kind of place. Good food. You get alot of food on your plate. They cater baked goods cakes and food for large events.
